It was the year of the millennium when founder of Shane Ave and host of The Unsuitable Podcast, Deb Saywell's life as she knew it was about to change forever.
It was in the year 2000 Deb fell in love with her life partner Sue.
Together for 19yrs, they have raised 6 kids in a blended family, had 2 successful businesses in the fitness industry.
Fast forward to 2015, they sell their businesses, Sue transfers from Army Reserves to full time Navy, while Deb takes up a position as a state manager for a fitness franchise group.
It wasn't long before Deb realised that after being self employed since her early 20's she probably wasn't cut out to be in traditional employment. With a burning desire to start another business Deb puts the plans in place for the inception of Shane Ave.
