The Unsuitable - LGBTQ Stories

Nov 6, 2019

Rey grew up in Manila and called a warehouse home until they migrated with their family to Australia in 2012.

Rey spent their first 12 years in the Catholic School System in Manila where they experienced bullying and torment. Rey tells the story of when a school teacher made them lift their school uniform up in front of two of the bullies to prove they were in fact a girl and not a boy. Only realising when they migrated to Australia how wrong that was.

Rey identifies as nonbinary pansexual and is a talented artist in many areas including but not limited to podcasts, writing and musicals.

Rey tells us their fascinating story which i trust you find as compelling and as interesting as i did when in did the interview.
