Fair to say not every story has doom and gloom attached to it. Tam Prins lived a relatively normal childhood in the southern suburbs of Melbourne and grew up attending an all girls Catholic School.
When in her mid teens, Tams parents separated which saw Tam and her mum and sister take up residence in a bus for a small period.
Apart from being hauled into the principal office in year 10 and being blamed for turning the whole year gay, Tam had a joyful if not sometimes confusing childhood.
Tam tells her story and shares her experiences of growing up in the late 90's and early 2000's. For those listeners who are struggling with their identity, this story is for you. Life can and will take on twists and turns but eventually you will find where you are meant to be.
Working in the US and Mexico at youth camps before joining the Royal Australian Navy, Tam has had an adventurous life that has enabled her to travel and see much of the world.
Tam is married to her life partner Amanda and currently works as a Physical Trainer in the Navy, stationed back in her home town of Melbourne.
Sit back and enjoy the wonderful story of Tam Prins.
