Lori was born into a traditional family environment with mum and dad and two younger brothers.
At age 13 Lori's world as she knew it was about to change forever.
Her mum fell in love with a woman and before too long Lori was part of a blended family that now consisted of two mums and 5 brothers.
Lori shares with us what that was like as a 13 year old and how that impacted her as a young adult. Lori is an accomplished teacher who prides herself on being more than just a teacher that teachers the curriculum. Lori is an avid ally of the lgbtiq community and strives to be a supporter to all young people that cross her path and identify as gender diverse.
Lori has taken life's lessons that she gained from being in a blended same sex family and instilled them into her teaching and her relationships.
